Greater Long Beach Arts Lab (GLOBAL), produced every October by the Arts Council for Long Beach as part of National Arts and Humanities Month, has listed over 500 arts events and experiences online at www.globallb.com.

Among the experiences listed are the Long Beach Open Studio Tour, Kirby Kendrick’s Ka-POW! (a “Graphitti exhibit at Expo Gallery”), “The Love Song of J. Robert Oppenheimer”, the Belmont Shore Artwalk & Justin Rudd Chalk Art Contest, India Jazz Suites, and the Long Beach Poppin’ Play Festival. All events and exhibits occur in Long Beach during the month of October.
 
“Long Beach’s diversity reveals itself through its eclectic art offerings,” said John Glaza, Interim Executive Director of the Arts Council for Long Beach, “GLOBAL is everyone’s chance to experience something new in Long Beach every day.”
 
Also available at www.globallb.com, is a “Featured Artist” profile from the Long Beach Arts and Culture Registry (available through the Arts Council for Long Beach at www.artslb.org/registry). The Registry promotes artists of all genres who live or work in Long Beach.
