It’s a long-standing tradition. Pop the champagne, pour, countdown, toast. But does it have to be that boring? Why not toast with some flair and style?

And given the deep freeze across the nation, a “Winter Wonderland Mimosa” seems like the best toast to bring in the new year.

And don’t worry if it doesn’t look perfect. Mine didn’t. But it’s still fancy!


1 1/2 oz. (45ml) Blue Raspberry Vodka

1/2 oz. (15ml) Blue Curacao

4 oz. (120ml) Champagne

Sprinkle Luster Dust

Garnish: Sugar Rim

  1.   Rim the edge of the champagne flute with sugar and set aside.
  2.   Add ice, blue raspberry vodka, blue curaçao, and luster dust to the base of the shaking glass and stir well.
  3.   Strain mix into the base of the champagne flute and top with champagne.
