According to the Downtown Long Beach Associates (DLBA), this week’s Taste of Downtown has been postponed due to the high probability of rain in the forecast for Wednesday and Thursday, April 25 and 26. The DLBA plans to reschedule the event for a date to be determined. All tickets purchased in advance will be honored at the rescheduled East Village event, as well as at the Waterfront (June 13 & 14) and the Pine Avenue (August 22 & 23) Taste of Downtowns.
“We came to the decision to postpone Taste of Downtown East Village in order to ensure our attendees and participating businesses have the best experience possible,” said DLBA Marketing and Special Events Manager Gina Dartt. “As this is an outdoor event, the rain would affect the ambiance as well as the attendance. We want to make sure this event benefits both the attendees and the businesses.”
