FIELD TRIP! It’s Day 7 of the LB Post Treasure Hunt and we don’t know about you, but our love, our life and our lady is the sea. That’s why today, we’re sending you on a sea cruise through our sparkling local waters in search of treasure. We’ve tried to steer clear of the whole, overused piratical theme throughout this hunt, but what do you call someone on a ship on a quest for treasure? Arrrgh, it gets frustrating sometimes, me hearties.

You are, you’ll recall from Day 6’s clue, still hanging around Shoreline Village. Alas, now it’s time to bid your tearful goodbyes to the hospitable villagers and landlubbing tourists and use one of your precious dollars to hop aboard a Long Beach Transit AquaBus for a little jaunt to the RLS Queen Mary.

RLS? Don’t we mean HMS Queen Mary? No: RLS. It’s a clue. Don’t make us spell it out. Take a picture of Long Beach from the Queen Mary, without having your picture marred by the ship. Put your photo in a metaphorical bottle and send it bobbing along to Instagram at #lbposttreasurehunt, or if you prefer, [email protected].
