Long Beach Camerata Singers invite you to ChoralFest!

Composer Ola Gjeilo and the Long Beach Camerata Singers are capturing the wondrous effects of Aurora Borealis through a ChoralFest concert inspired by the imagery and soul of the darkness and light found in northernmost reaches.

Norwegian born-Gjeilo, a world-renowned Julliard-educated composer and pianist, specializes in a cinematic and evocative musical style he says is heavily influenced by his adopted country of America.

Featuring a piano and string quartet, the Camerata Singers will present some of the Gjeilo’s most famous works, including “Dark Night of the Soul” and “Luminous Night of the Soul.”

The immersive ChoralFest experience on Sunday, March 13, starts at 4:30 p.m. Tickets to the event at the Beverly O’Neill Theater (300 E. Ocean Blvd.) start at $40 and are available now.
