Sure, Kurt Cobain and Freddie Mercury are no longer with us, and it’s a damn shame. But a few tribute bands are hoping to bring the rock legends’ stage personalities back to life, at least for the night, in Long Beach as they perform on the Queen Mary this Saturday.

Negative Creep, a Nirvana tribute band and Queen Nation, a Queen tribute band will be two of the six cover bands performing aboard the ship this weekend.

Live on three stages from 7:00PM to 1:00AM will be Queen Nation, Negative Creep, Bella Donna (a tribute to Fleetwood Mac), Vitalogy (a tribute to Pearl Jam) and Radio Domingo (70s, 80s and 90s hits). Mr. Mister Miyagi will also host live band karaoke, where attendees can become a rockstar in their own right, performing their favorite hits with a live five-piece backing band.

The concert will also include pub food, beer and wine.

Tickets are $15 online or $20 at the door, with $5 parking. All ages are welcome. For more information, visit http://queenmary.com/events/rock-the-queen.
