The U.S. Naval Academy Gospel Choir will perform a free concert in Long Beach next month.

The vocal group of more than 50 midshipmen has performed in major cities across the country, including in Washington, D.C. at President Obama’s Inaugural Concert on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial.

The free concert will take place March 15 at 4:00PM at Covenant Presbyterian Church, located at 607 East Third Street. An all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner for a donation of $15 will follow the concert. The dinner is hosted by Rising TIDE at Marguerite Kiefer Education Center, which will benefit from the dinner and provide funds for academic support, mentoring, cultural enrichment, arts, sports, recreation and nutrition for more than 400 inner city youth in downtown Long Beach.
