Ivy and Iris are now waiting for adoption in their pink condo at Bixby Animal Clinic. Both have been spayed, microchipped and made current on their vaccinations, and are now awaiting a forever home. These two were given up by their owners for no good reason, and are but a year old. They were so very shy at first that they hid under the newspaper in their cage while at the shelter, but are now coming around and are looking forward to a lifetime with the same person who will keep them safe. We hope that they will be adopted together because they arrived at the Shelter together, and are currently best buds in their temporary home.

Friends of Long Beach Animals only rescues animals that are not selected for adoption at the shelter and would be scheduled for euthanasia because no one wanted them. We try to provide that third chance for them to find a home, with the help of our business partners.
