2014 pirate festivalThis weekend, Long Beach will be celebrating swashbucklers, privateer and scallywags all weekend at Shoreline Village.

This year, the annual Pirate Festival will include sword fighting, harbor cruises, pirate games, bullwhip tricks, costume contests, kid activities, a balloon artist, face painter and Joust Kidding playing “pirate ballads and jolly good songs” all weekend.

On Saturday, Ship of Fools will play, and fire dancers will entertain. Guests are encouraged to dress in pirate costumes during the event.

Admission into the event is free. The Pirate Festival will take place in Shoreline Village on Saturday from 1:00PM to 7:00PM and Sunday from 1:00PM to 5:00PM.
