9th Annual Art Deco Festival

If you’re sick of your technology-ridden routine of hotspot-hunting, selfie-taking and proverbial YOLO-ing, then this Labor Day weekend event might be the welcome change you need. The Queen Mary takes a look back at the roaring twenties with a variety of events such as a grand ball, martinis under the stars and what could be the classiest pajama party. Although the price can be steep on some tickets, it’s not every day you get to practice your jazz-age slang, you dig?

WHERE: The Queen Mary, 1126 Queens Highway
WHEN: Aug. 30-Sept. 2, check website for schedule of events
