Through pure gumption, two local students secured a Santa Monica venue to perform their uproarious comedy “The Legend of Mt. Hurr.” They say it’s “something that’s classic, that everyone from a 5-year-old to grandparents would want to come see.” 

Long Beach Symphony announces lineup for 2025-26 season

The season kicks off with “Passion & Tragedy” on Sept. 27 with Sydney Guillaume’s “Lavil Okap,” Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 2, Tchaikovsky’s “Romeo and Juliet Fantasy” Overture and Bernstein’s beloved “West Side Story Symphonic Dances.”
