Yet another five-story building on Seaside Way in DTLB is set to make its way into development soon: the Serenade Modern Flats project, sitting in front of the towering 444 Ocean building, will provide 95 units.

This project comes from the same designers and developers working on the other Seaside Way project, Sonata, just east of this and

As of now, the proposed project will consist of a five story apartment podium with a total of 95 apartment homes consisting of 43 studio units, 21 one-bedroom, 25 two-bedroom, and 6 three-bedroom units over a three-level semi-subterranean parking garage with a total of 177 parking spaces, inclusive of proposed tandem and handicap spaces. On-site facilities and amenities include a fitness center for residents and a rooftop deck with spa with fire pits and barbeque areas.

Unlike its sister building, this building will feature no groundfloor retail space in an attempt to activate Seaside Way. Instead, it will divert its residents to Ocean and the current 444 building where Aroma di Roma currently operates its DTLB cafe.

Construction was expected to start this year but has been delayed and is expected to begin first quarter of 2018.
