A big rig crashed into the center divider in the northbound lanes of the 405 Freeway in Long Beach this morning, and four lanes of the freeway were blocked.

Officers responded about 1:40 a.m. to the location on the 405 near the Santa Fe Avenue exit and located a 60-foot long truck that had hit the wall and was blocking traffic, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The carpool and Nos. 1, 2 and 3 lanes were closed while efforts were made to move the truck off the freeway, the CHP said.

A SigAlert was issued until at least 5:30 a.m. Officers were slowing traffic up to the closure and advised drivers to avoid the area.
