300-SellLocal-Thinkglobal-OlgaMizrahi-CoverA free small business workshop, focused on helping small business owners master Yelp and online reviews as well as increase their revenue, will be held on Tuesday, March 31 at 6:00PM at the Gaslamp Restaurant & Bar. Hostess and councilwoman Suzie Price, will introduce Olga Mizrahi, author of Sell Local, Think Global, as the featured guest speaker.

At the workshop, attendees will learn how to claim their listings, boost their web and mobile visibility, skilfully respond to both good and bad reviews, turn customer service efforts into free advertising and grow revenue without increasing costs. Participants will be able to network with other local business owners and ask their most pressing questions.

“This workshop will be a great teaching tool for small businesses,” Councilwoman Price said in a statement. “I am excited to bring this forum to the business community.”

Mizrahi has been featured in Forbes, Fast Company, Inc. Magazine, NPR Investor’s Business Daily, is a regular blogger on Chunk of Change and frequently contributes to the Post as our small business columnist. As a Long Beach business owner of 10-year-old ohso! design, Mizrahi will instill in participants the priceless knowledge of how to interact with customers online in a way that benefits their budding small enterprise.
