Police in Arvada, Coloradoo are seeking the public’s help in finding Jason McDavitt, a Long Beacher who has been accused of child molestation.

36-year-old McDavitt was charged with two counts of sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust back in 2011 after he had moved from Colorado to Long Beach; he also holds a restraining order prohibiting him from any contact with persons under 18-years-old. The Long Beach Police Department then assisted Arvada Police in apprehending McDavitt and extraditing him to Jefferson County, CO.

After failing to appear on December 10, a warrant has been issued for his arrest.

McDavitt is 5’9″ tall, with black hair and brown eyes and numerous tattoos, including a Bob Marley depiction on his right forearm. Suspected places of his whereabouts outside of California and Colorado include Ohio, Washington and New York, where he has family.
