4 vehicles involved in East Long Beach collision, including 1 involved in OC pursuit

Four vehicles were involved in a collision in East Long Beach Monday afternoon, including one that was involved in an earlier pursuit with Fountain Valley police and the California Highway Patrol, authorities said.

The collision at 4:20 p.m. at the intersection of Atherton Street and Studebaker Road resulted in one minor injury, according to a statement from the Long Beach Police Department.

The “primary vehicle” involved had also been involved in the chase. An unknown number of suspects were detained by police in Fountain Valley, Long Beach police said.

Police are still investigating the collision.
