Long Beach Creamery’s Bixby Knolls location was burglarized early Sunday but nothing was stolen, the establishment reported.

Surveillance footage showed an unknown suspect breaking the store’s glass door before entering and shuffling around the front counter. The suspect fled before police arrived.

The incident happened at about 5 a.m. with police responding shortly after. The store is located in a strip mall on Long Beach Boulevard just south of San Antonio Drive.

“Nothing was stolen, no one was harmed, but luckily our cameras got an eyeful,” the establishment posted on social media. “Hopefully the door will be intact by the time the shop opens at noon, but if it isn’t, please bear with us. We’ll still be open today, serving you the best ice cream in Long Beach.”

This is the fifth time the store has been burglarized in the four years it has been at the Bixby Knolls location. A second location was opened Downtown last year.
