A man was killed and two women were wounded Sunday in a shooting near Silverado Park, according to police.
The shooting occurred about 12:10 a.m. in the 3200 block of Caspian Avenue, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
The department said that officers rendered medical aid until relieved by the Long Beach Fire Department, which transported the victims to a local hospital, where the man died, police said. His name was withheld pending family notification.
The women were listed in stable condition, police said.
The suspect fled the scene and a description and possible motive were not immediately made public.
