Police said they are looking for whoever opened fire on a crowd, wounding one person, at a bar on the border of Signal Hill and Long Beach this weekend.

The gunfire started around 12:15 a.m. Saturday at Lona’s City Limits Cantina, on Wardlow Road near Orange Avenue, Signal Hill police said. The bar was featured on the Spike TV show “Bar Rescue” in 2013.

When officers got to the scene, they found a large group of witnesses who’d told them there’d been a fight among several people when someone started shooting into the crowd, the SHPD said.

Investigators originally couldn’t find anyone who’d been wounded, but they did find several shell casings in an alley behind the bar, police said.

A while later, someone who’d been shot in the hand walked into a local hospital, police said. The wound wasn’t life-threatening, according to the department.

Police haven’t found the shooter yet. They’re still gathering evidence, including going through security camera footage, police said.

Authorities asked anyone with information to contact Det. Erik Grove at 562-989-7217.
