Two vehicles were struck by gunfire after police responded to reports of gunshots in the city’s Washington neighborhood Saturday night, according to the Long Beach Police Department (LBPD).

Officers were called to the 1700 block of Daisy Avenue at 11:53PM on Saturday, July 22. When they arrived, they found two vehicles struck by gunfire and bullet casings in the street, said LBPD spokeswoman Nancy Pratt.

The drivers of the vehicles were located by police uninjured.

No suspect information was available. The investigation remains ongoing.
