Voters who want to cast their ballots in person can do so starting this Saturday in selected locations, according to the Los Angeles County website.

Starting Saturday, Oct. 24 between 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., eight Vote Centers will be open in the following locations across Long Beach:

  • American Gold Star Manor in the Capt. Leonard Rec Hall (3021 N. Gold Star Dr.)
  • Christian Life Church in the Fellowship Hall (3400 Pacific Ave.)
  • Carmelitos Community Center in the Multi-Purpose Room (851 Via Carmelitos)
  • Long Beach City College in the Multi-Purpose Room T1200 (4901 E. Carson St.)
  • Long Beach City College, Pacific Coast Campus in Building QQ (1305 E. Pacific Coast Hwy.)
  • Long Beach Convention Center in the Arena Lobby (300 E. Ocean Blvd.)
  • International City Masonic Center (5155 Pacific Coast Hwy.)
  • Cal State Long Beach at the Carpenter Performing Arts Center Lobby (6200 Atherton St.)

The rest of the Vote Centers will become available on Friday, Oct. 30. Visit caearlyvoting.sos.ca.gov to see the full list of locations. On Election Day, all Vote Centers will have extended hours of 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

You can also fill out your mail-in ballot at home and drop it off at any of the Vote Centers like you already can at the secure drop-boxes scattered across the city.

County officials say that in-person voting will adhere to state and county public health and safety guidelines, which will include requiring voters and poll workers to wear face coverage and gloves (they will be provided if needed) and sanitizing all surfaces and Ballot Marking Devices after each use, and maintaining physical distance of 6 feet.
