Driver crashes into West Long Beach bakery while trying to park
A woman crashed her car into a West Long Beach bakery this morning around 7:30 when she accidentally hit the gas pedal, according to authorities.
The wreck smashed a front window at JP Goods Bakery on Willow Street at Easy Avenue, but authorities said nobody was hurt.
Photos show the car also smashed into a corner column of the bakery. Long Beach firefighters temporarily shored up the area to stabilize the building, according to a tweet from the Long Beach Firefighters Association.
Police do not believe drugs or alcohol played a factor, according to police spokeswoman Shaunna Dandoy.
