UPDATE | Long Beach police announced at 10:45 a.m. Monday that David Quiroz has been located unharmed at a medical facility in Torrance.

Long Beach police are appealing for the public’s help in locating a missing 46-year-old man with diminished mental capacity.
David Quiroz was last seen at 3:30 a.m. Sunday walking northbound in the 1100 block of Walnut Avenue, police said.
Quiroz has been known to use the transit system to take long rides outof the city and likes to visit restaurants and hospitals, police said.
He could become disoriented, has also been known to lie about his name and can become violent and throw things, according to police.
He is Hispanic, 5 feet, 5 inches tall, 240 pounds, with shaved black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt and sweatpants, black beanie, blue face mask and black gloves.
