Man survives stabbing in Washington neighborhood

Police are investigating the stabbing of a man in the Washington neighborhood Sunday morning, according to the Long Beach Police Department.

Officers were dispatched at around 1:30 a.m. to a local hospital to see the victim in an emergency room suffering from a stab wound to his upper body, police said, who added that the man’s wound was not life-threatening.

The preliminary investigation revealed the victim was stabbed by a man in the area of Pacific Coast Highway and Pacific Avenue, however, officers did not find a crime scene or witnesses, according to police.
