A tanker truck overturned this morning on the southbound 710 Freeway in East Los Angeles, prompting closure of the southbound lanes.
The crash occurred about 2 a.m. just north of the 5 Freeway, and some anti-freeze leaked from truck, according to Officer Patrick Kimball of the California Highway Patrol.
Traffic was diverted onto the southbound 5 Freeway while crews worked to clear the scene.
About 9:20 a.m., two southbound lanes were reopened, but others remained closed. The cause of the crash was under investigation.
