You may be a HGTV Flip or Flop fanatic. Or perhaps you have a flair for the dramatic and prefer Bravo’s Flipping Out. Either way, the more pertinent question you have to ask yourself is: have you ever considered flipping a house yourself? On Tuesday, December 9, you can place your usual daydreams aside and find out how to get started flipping your first property.

From 6PM to 8PM at the Long Beach Petroleum Club, the California Flipping Network will give a free two-hour workshop for beginning investors and realtors on how to get started finding, fixing and flipping houses. Lloyd Segal, author of “Flipping Houses” will be the featured speaker, using his 20-plus years of professional real estate experience as an investor, mortgage banker, attorney and author to give a well-rounded approach to the laborious profession.

During the workshop, you’ll learn how to get started with finding distressed properties, buying said properties below market, then rehabilitating them quickly and on budget so you can flip them for a profit.

The class is free but an RSVP is required. You can register by clicking here. The Long Beach Petroleum Club is located at 3636 Linden Ave.
