Police are asking for the public’s help locating a 72-year-old man with medical conditions who went missing Monday afternoon.

Robert Alonso Roach was last seen at around 4 p.m. leaving his home in the 5000 block of Paramount Boulevard, according to the Long Beach Police Department. Roach may easily become disoriented and is unable to care for himself, authorities said in a press release Tuesday. He does not have a car or cellphone and his destination is unknown, the LBPD said.

Roach is Black, 5 feet and 9 inches tall, 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, gray pajama pants, and white and blue shoes, authorities said. He also has a scar under his right eye, police said.

Roach was previously reported missing last week after leaving his home at night. He was found unharmed the following morning a couple of blocks away.
