Police investigate shots fired in Central Long Beach; no injuries reported

Long Beach police are investigating a shooting in Central Long Beach Sunday at around midnight. No one was found injured, according to police.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers found and collected evidence of the shooting, police said.

Witness statements indicate that the suspected shooter fired into the air, according to police.

Police said the reason for the shooting is currently unknown, and there is no suspect description available at this time.
