A driver ran a red light and ended up crashing into the front of a watch shop on Second Street in Belmont Shore Thursday night, according to authorities.

The crash happened around 8:30 p.m. when the driver went through the light at Second Street and Park Avenue, Long Beach Police Department spokeswoman Shaunna Dandoy said.

After colliding with another car, the first car hit the Watch and Clock Center storefront. Photos from the scene show shattered glass and some other damage at the front of the business.

There weren’t any injuries reported, and fire department crews responded and determined there wasn’t any structural damage to the building, Dandoy said.

Police are still investigating, she said.
