Power outage affects thousands in southeast Long Beach
Several neighborhoods in southeastern Long Beach, including Belmont Heights, Belmont Shore and Naples, faced a power outage Wednesday evening.
According to Southern California Edison, an outage was reported at 7:20 p.m. that affected 4,307 customers.
It was not immediately clear what caused the outage.
On Second Street in Belmont Shore, several businesses went dark, including Panama Joe’s, Legends and Rance’s.
Repair crews were expected to restore power to most customers by 10 p.m., according to SCE.
