U.S. Senator and Republican Presidential candidate Marco Rubio will visit Long Beach Tuesday to speak to members of the Long Beach Petroleum Club.

44-year-old Rubio, a senator from Florida, would be the nation’s first Latino president. According to the senator’s campaign page, in order to “create millions of better-paying modern jobs,” steps that must be taken include reforming the tax code, reducing regulations, controlling spending, modernizing immigration laws and repealing and replacing ObamaCare.

The event will be hosted by the Young Professionals at the Petroleum Club, who most recently hosted Long Beach Mayor Robert Garcia in April. A roundtable discussion will take place at 11:30AM for $2,700 per person and a lunch at 12:00PM for $1,000 per person, according to the event flyer.
