The Coroner’s Office today released the name of a 76-year-old man who was struck by a motorcycle in Long Beach and later died at an area hospital.

The woman was allegedly struck by a vehicle traveling east on Wardlow Road. A statement from the Long Beach Police Department said the victim was not in a crosswalk.
On Wednesday, police were notified that the woman died on Aug. 14, the LBPD said.
A CHP spokesman said the officer was believed to be on his way to work when the crash occurred about 4:40 a.m. Sunday on Del Amo Boulevard, west of Cherry Avenue.
The pedestrian died at the scene, authorities said.
