The woman was seen waving a rifle at Del Valle Park before pulling into a driveway in the 4700 block of Pearce Avenue, according to the Sheriff’s Department.
A high-speed pursuit ended on the Recreation Park Golf Course where a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department helicopter landed on the grass to help take two men into custody, live footage of the chase showed.
A woman was arrested after leading law enforcement on a pursuit through multiple cities including Carson, Compton and Long Beach before being arrested Thanksgiving night.
A police cruiser also collided with a U.S. Postal Service truck during the pursuit, but nobody was seriously injured.
The chase covered three freeways and zig-zagged through Long Beach surface streets before ending near St. Mary Medical Center.
A woman first called police around 1:35 p.m. saying a man had pointed a gun at her in the 2100 block of Pacific Place, police spokeswoman Allison Gallagher said.
The pair of suspects were wanted for a robbery at a CVS drugstore, according to a sheriff’s official.
