Special Olympics plunges into partnership with LBCC in preparation for summer games

The partnership will allow over 80 Special Olympics Southern California athletes to practice at the LBCC Liberal Arts Campus ahead of the 2023 Special Olympics Summer Games, which are scheduled to take place on June 10 and 11 at Cal State Long Beach.

Long Beach will extend winter homeless shelter at Community Hospital through April
