Thanks to a buzzer-beater from St. Anthony alum Jadon Jones on Friday night in the Big West Tournament semifinals, the Beach will face Cal State Fullerton tonight at 8:30 p.m. on ESPN 2.
It’s been a long decade for the Beach since their last NCAA Tournament appearance in 2012.
Even compliments came with a critical side.

Cal State Long Beach was graced with a surprise visit by rap superstar Drake last night, who showed up to support his goddaughter at her volleyball game in the Walter Pyramid. His attendance proved to be good luck, as the powerful Beach women beat their opponent Loyola Marymount University 3-0.
