Our delightful Long Beach Airport took the cake for USA Today’s 10Best category, Best Airport for Dining, beating out Denver International Airport and Toronto Pearson International Airport, the two airports that took second and third place.
“With an exceptionally designed terminal facility and a team which collectively delivers remarkable customer service, Long Beach Airport is honored to receive this recognition from USA Today, 10Best.com and Airport Revenue News,” stated LGB Director Bryant L. Francis, C.M.
Initially nominated in January by USA TODAY readers, LGB’s selection of eateries reflects some of the culinary staples that even the most discerning foodie could agree fill out the local scene, including George’s Greek Cafe, Pine Avenue’s Taco Beach and McKenna’s Burger Bar.
“Further, in the 10Best.com Readers Choice poll, LGB was the smallest of the 15 airports nominated for Best Airport Dining, so this is indeed well deserved recognition for LGB,” said Francis.
