Man arrested after police discover 15 pounds of meth, 2 guns while serving warrant at residence

An anonymous vigilante group has so far sparked the arrest of two men in Long Beach by accusing them of attempting to meet up with minors for sex.
Police said they called in a SWAT team after a man reportedly pointed a gun at his partner and fled to a nearby residence on Sunday afternoon.
Romain Duranjarrod Smith, 26, was booked on suspicion of battery on a peace officer, battery causing injury, obstructing or resisting arrest and attempting to take a firearm from a peace officer, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
Markos Emilio Apodaca, 23, was booked on suspicion of attempted murder, possession of a controlled substance and two outstanding warrants, police said.
Kelly Anderson Bayloe, 49, was booked on one count of murder following an investigation that led detectives to believe he was gunman who shot Pearson after an argument in North Long Beach, the Long Beach Police Department said in a press release Tuesday afternoon.
