Police say they’ve connected the suspect to five incidents throughout the city, but believe there are more victims who have yet to come forward.
Police arrested 42-year-old Hery Martinez-Paredez, at his home in Long Beach on suspicion of indecent exposure. He is being held in the Long Beach jail on a $200,000 bail.
Authorities alleged Richard Michael Parkhurst also exposed himself to two people. His attorney said he suffers from a mental illness.
Dong-Hyun Huh taught church planting and other classes at Grace Mission University in Fullerton at the time of his arrest.
Police said the man is white, between 5-foot-8 to 6-feet, weighing approximately 170 to 200 pounds. He is 19 to 25 years old with dark brown hair and a “buzz” haircut, authorities said.
Police said they started getting multiple reports about an indecent exposure suspect near 10th and Redondo around 2 p.m. Tuesday.
This was the second case of a man exposing himself to a 13-year-old girl walking through Long Beach within 48 hours.
Police said the man exposed himself not far from Pan American Park around 5:15 p.m. They asked residents to be on the lookout.
Deputies arrested the man at the Sprouts store last week, and now they’re looking for other witnesses and possible victims.
Long Beach police today sought public help to identify a suspect wanted in separate indecent exposure incidents this year involving a woman and two girls near Wilson High School.
