After a three-day preliminary hearing, an Orange County judge ruled that there is enough evidence for Tatiana “Tia” Turner to face a jury trial on an attempted murder charge, among other charges.
A Long Beach woman charged with attempted murder for allegedly driving her car into a group of activists in Yorba Linda is facing more felonies related to another protest in Seal Beach, prosecutors announced today.
Whether Tatiana “Tia” Turner’s action was deliberate or an act of self-defense is a matter for the court of law. As for the court of public opinion, both the District Attorney and the organizations behind Turner are building opposing narratives as to what really happened on the afternoon of Sept. 26 in front of the Yorba Linda library.
The group plans to walk up Pacific Avenue to the Wardlow Blue Line station, where Cesar Rodriguez, 23, died a year ago.
