Portions of the Blue and Expo lines will be temporarily out of service Sunday night while urgent maintenance repairs take place, Metro announced.

The following stations will be affected from Sunday, Dec. 30 at 11 p.m. to Monday, Dec. 31 at 4 a.m.:

Blue Line will be out of service from Grand/LATTC to 7th St/Metro Center. Rail service will end at Grand/LATTC.

Expo Line will be out of service from LATTC/Ortho Institute to 7th St/Metro Center. Rail Service will end at LATTC/Ortho Institute.

The Red and Purple lines will continue to be in service.

Metro will be providing free bus shuttles to replace the rail services at the stations mentioned above. Another free bus shuttle will replace the transfer between the Blue and Expo lines and operate between Grand/LATTC and LATTC/Ortho Institute, officials said.
