The organization Helen Sanders CatPAWS began raising funds in 2022 for a mobile spay/neuter clinic—and that clinic is now fully staffed and equipped and is literally ready to roll wherever the need is.

Long Beach gets $5.3M grant to address homelessness Downtown and at Billie Jean King Library

Woman acquitted of charges in 2020 crash that killed off-duty Long Beach police officer

The charges were brought against Rachel Juliussen, who was in a Jeep attempting to make a left turn from Seventh Place onto Ocean Boulevard at about 2:25 p.m. on June 4, 2020, when she collided with Officer Anton Fischer, who was driving his motorcycle while on the way to work.
