In yet another consumer-oriented organization’s rankings, Long Beach has been named #19 out of the top 20 cities for pet lovers.
WalletHub, the financial site dedicated to informing consumers and small businesses on everything from financial decisions to job markets, has created its latest listicle aimed at pitting cities against one another in a best-of/worst-of battle. Using 14 measures—Veterinary Care Costs, Minimum Pet Care Provider Rate per Visit, Dog Insurance Premium, Number of Veterinarians per Capita, Number of Pet Caretakers per Capita, Number of Pet Businesses per Capita, Pet Friendly Restaurants per Capita, Percent of Pet Friendly Hotels, Pet Meet-up Groups, Average Home Square Feet, Weather Conditions, Dog Parks per Capita, Walk Score and Pet Friendly Trails—WalletHub ranked the 100 largest cities in the States.
