The truck was headed north on the 405 around 12:30 p.m. when it collided with at least one other car and then shattered the concrete median, according to a CHP log.
Nobody was injured, a spokesman for the Long Beach Fire Department said.
Multiple lanes on the northbound and southbound side of the 405 were shut down after the crash, according to Caltrans.
The CHP tweeted that the freeway was completely reopened at about 2:40 p.m.
