Weather forecasters predict showers to come to Long Beach and other parts of Southern California Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

In Long Beach, the showers should fall before 11 a.m., with a 70% chance of rain, and the skies should clear by Monday night, according to forecasters.

Temperatures expect to drop, too, from a 58-degree high to a 44-degree low by the nighttime. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph.

After Monday, temperatures will rise slightly, followed by mostly sunny skies through most of the week.
