Two killed, several hurt in three-car crash in Lakewood

Video from the scene showed the wheels of the handler had crushed the bed of the truck.
No bystanders were injured in the crash, but the parklet was completely obliterated.
On Wednesday, police were notified that the woman died on Aug. 14, the LBPD said.
The men were outside their cars on westbound Del Amo Boulevard when the woman, driving a Dodge Caravan, crashed into them, police said.
Eight other people, including five children, were also injured in the crash.
Bystanders said nobody was on the bus when it crashed and nobody appeared to be seriously injured.
The crash was on Spring Street just west of the 605 Freeway around 4:45 Wednesday morning, according to police.
The crash shut down Pacific Avenue in both directions around 12:40 p.m. while police investigated Tuesday afternoon.
Two people were hospitalized when their car smashed through a guardrail on a 710 Freeway onramp and fell about 75 feet to an access road below, according to Long Beach police.
